I've fallen in Love today.

Something I thought would never happen.
Yet it hit me the moment I stepped off that train.

Something new stirred up within my veins.

Slightly out of place, yet totally in the right space.
It felt like the world I'd known until then disappeared without leaving a trace.

I saw colours I'd never seen before.
Clouds I couldn't ever even imagined or dreamt of.

The wind swept across my cheeks as my eyes widened.
The smile upon my face wasn't even disturbed by this invasive cough.

Everything seems to have taken on a glow, a shimmer.
Even light danced through the air as the day got dimmer.

The only thing I can say to Japan and its people is arigatou gozaimashita,
for I have fallen in Love with this town they gently call Hiroshima.
